This donation from Africa Maximum is for a 7-day hunt for 1x rhino bull of maximum 22 inches. (The donation excludes the arrival and departure dates.) This hunt is available for the 2019 or 2020 season and includes field preparation of trophies and all transportation (all done by vehicle; special arrangements will be made if client wishes to charter a plane to camp – this will be done at extra cost to the hunter). The hunt may be upgraded, either with extra hunters or observers at normal rates, extra trophies to be hunted, extra days booked either hunting or touring, as client wishes to tailor the package. The arrival and departure point will be Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport. Africa Maximum Safaris will meet the hunter at the airport on arrival and transfer them to camp. They will also handle the drop off transfer. No permit drawing or lottery is required for this hunt.
This hunt will be with a rifle only; specifically a 375 caliber or larger. The limitation on the ammunition is 200 rounds per gun. Hunter can also bring a shotgun for bird hunting. An export permit from the United States is required to bring any weapons into South Africa. At South African Customs, the gun owner with supply all necessary import permits, on which a temporary firearm license will be issued.
The winning bidder must get in contact with African Maximum within 3 months after the auction in order to reserve dates for their safari.
Not Included: Not included in the donation are dipping and shipping of any trophies. Trophy safe keeping and transfer after the hunt will cost $1,000. An observer may join the hunter at a cost of $160 per day excluding tax of 15%.
