Description – This 7-day hunt for Red Duiker, Suni, Blue Duiker, and Oribi will take place in Coutada 11. A hunting block in Central Coastal Mozambique, Coutada 11 adjoins the Marromeu Buffalo reserve and is a little over .5 million acres in extent. 25 years ago, after the civil war, this block barely had a variable wildlife population of any sorts. Today it has one of the highest populations of unfenced wildlife in Africa. From independent survey, the area has experienced over 3000% growth in wildlife numbers across all species, making it one of the greatest landscape recovery stories in modern times. What is even more remarkable is that this unprecedented comeback of wildlife was financed exclusively by hunters, hunting organizations, and the hunting-related industry. If you buy this safari you will experience firsthand what true conservation can achieve: conservation financed and implemented by hunters and hunters alone. The funds from this hunt will go towards purchasing motorbikes for the Zambeze Delta Anti-Poaching Unit.
